The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is the overseeing body of the men's expert tennis circuits - the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. It was shaped in September 1972 by Donald Dell, Jack Kramer, and Cliff Drysdale to safeguard the interests of expert tennis players, and Drysdale turned into the primary President. Starting around 1990, the affiliation has coordinated the ATP Tour, the overall tennis visit for men and connected the title of the visit with the association's name. It is the administering body of men's expert tennis. In 1990 the association was known as the ATP Tour, which was renamed in 2001 as ATP and the visit being called ATP Tour. In 2009 the name of the visit was changed once more and was known as the ATP World Tour, however changed again to the ATP Tour by 2019. It is an advancement of the visit rivalries recently known as Grand Prix tennis competitions and World Championship Tennis (WCT).The ATP's worldwide base camp are in London. ATP Americas is situated in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; ATP Europe is settled in Monaco; and ATP International, which covers Africa, Asia and Australasia, is situated in Sydney, Australia.
