Indian Premier League 2023 will be the 16th edition of the cash-rich league. The second-most valuable tournament in the world will begin live action on March 31 and continue till May 28. Ten smashing teams are competing with each other in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League. Like the previous season, teams are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. All teams are entitled to play fourteen group stage matches from which each team will play in their own group once and twice against the teams in other group.

Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will lock horns for the first match of IPL 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A total of 70 matches will be played between the teams. The top four teams with the most points will qualify for the playoffs. The two deserving teams that will win the playoffs will fight against each other for the prestigious trophy of the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League.
