KKR Released their Jersey for IPL 15th season

Kolkata Knight Riders presented their new jersey for IPL 2022 on Friday. It’s great news for fans on this Holi Festival. The authorities of the Franchise took to their social media accounts to disclose the jersey and kit for the upcoming 15th IPL league. Captain of the Franchise, Shreyas Iyer, and KKR Director Venky Mysore exhibited the jersey. Now talking about the jersey, It has reserved its traditional colors but it has bright gold and purple tinges with the name of sponsors being set well the colors of the jersey and the logo of the franchise at the top left side. It has a tagline of Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo.’ Shreyas Iyer during the launch of the jersey said, “These are threads born with passion. The same passion that drives those who wear it. The flames burn deep within us stoking the fire to win. To conquer new challenges as we capture hearts, this is the uniform of the knights, the trailblazers, the stargazers, the game-changers – now, it’s time to shine.” He further added, "The embers within shine the light on the path that’s right, that is followed by every knight on their road to greatness. This is the armor with which you shine, as you go for glory. KKR hai taiyaar [KKR is ready].” Well, KKR is one of the finest times, they have achieved the titles twice in their IPL seasons, the first time in 2012 and the second time in 2014. Both of these titles were won under the captaincy of Gautam Gambhir. In 2021, Franchise was led by Eoin Morgan who even managed to place the KKR in the finals of IPL 2021 in UAE, but it lost the match. Meanwhile, KKR  invested 12.25 crores to acquire the services of Shreyas Iyer and is expecting to register their third title under his leadership. This Franchise also spent a huge sum of ‘89.55 crores’ to form a 25 member gang. KKR is owned by Red Chillies and Mehta Group. Head of Red Chillies is actor Shahrukh Khan and the Mehta Group is headed by actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta Concurrently, IPL will start its 15th season from 26th March with the first tournament between Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
