The National Basketball Association (NBA) is the North American professional basketball league. The league is one of the major professional sports leagues in the United States and Canada, with 30 clubs (29 in the United States and one in Canada). The NBA is an active member of USA Basketball (USAB), which is recognized as the national regulatory organization for basketball in the United States by the FIBA (International Basketball Federation). The league's worldwide and individual team offices are directed from its headquarters in Midtown Manhattan, while its NBA Entertainment and NBA TV studios are directed from Secaucus, New Jersey.
The NBA is the third-richest professional sports league in North America, after the National Football League (NFL) and Major League Baseball (MLB), and one of the top four in the world in terms of revenue.

The 2022 NBA All-Star Game was an exhibition game staged on February 20, 2022, during the National Basketball Association's 2021-22 season. For the 71st time, the NBA All-Star Game was held. The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the game at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.The Cleveland area hosted the All-Star Game for the third time, first in 1981 at the Coliseum in adjacent Richfield, Ohio, and most recently in 1997—three years after the Cavaliers returned to downtown Cleveland to play in the newly completed Gund Arena, which is now known as Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. Coincidentally, the NBA celebrated its 35th season (1981), 50th anniversary (1997), and 75th anniversary on the same day Cleveland hosted an All-Star Game (2022).

This was Team LeBron's seventh All-Star victory in a row.
