The Royal London One-Day Cup is a fifty-over restricted overs cricket contest for the England and Wales top of the line provinces. It started in 2014 as a swap for the ECB 40 competition, which ran from 2010 to 2013. Rather than its 40-over ancestor, the quantity of overs per innings was set at 50 to align the opposition with One-Day Internationals. The 2020 competition was dropped because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
