Eighth Edition of Women’s T20 World Cup

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 is the eighth edition of Women’s T20 World Cup. The eighth edition of Women’s T20 World Cup has started on February 10, 2023 and will be played till February 26, 2023 between the 10 teams. Race for the trophy involves 23 matches among the participants. South Africa is the host nation of Women’s Twenty 20 International 2023.  

Venues of Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 

International Cricket Council has stated previous year in August that all the matches of awaited world cup will be played in three venues in three cities. The three venues in South Africa are: 

  • Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. This stadium has capacity of 25,000 audience. Twelve matches will be played here. This includes thrilling semi-finals and final. 
  • St George’s Park in Gqeberha. This stadium has capacity of 19,000 audience. Five matches will be played here. 
  • Boland Park in Paarl. This stadium has capacity of 10,000 audience. Six matches will be played here.
