Indian Premier League 2023 will be the 16th edition of the cash-rich league. The second-most valuable tournament in the world will begin live action on March 31 and continue till May 28. An enormous moment will be erected in history this year as the Indian Premier League completes its 15th year in its 2023 edition.

In 2008, the Board of Control for Cricket in India commenced the first edition of the Indian Premier League.

The previous year auction was held on December 23 in Kochi. Sam Curran, who had been bought by the "Punjab Kings" for Rs. 18.50 crore, ended up becoming the most expensive player in the history of the IPL.

The Indian Premier League is a gigantic platform for young players to show off their cricket skills. Usually, officials use the IPL as a base for selecting players for international tournaments. Any player can be selected for internationals simply by demonstrating talent loops. Players who have retired from international cricket have an advantage in the Indian Premier League as they can continue their game there.
