Mumbai City Football Club is an Indian expert football club situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra that contends in the Indian Super Association, the first class of Indian football. The club was established in August 2014, during the debut time of the Indian Super Association (ISL). Mumbai City is the main club to bring home both the ISL championship and Association Victors Safeguard, which it did in the 2020-21 season. Additionally, Mumbai City is the primary club from India to win an AFC Champions Association match. Previous Britain worldwide Peter Reid dealt with the club during the main season with Freddie Ljungberg as the marquee player. For the subsequent season, it was declared that Nicolas Anelka would play the job of marquee player cum supervisor of the club.[9] In 2016, Diego Forlán played as the marquee player while Alexandre Guimarães took over as the new chief. In 2020, Sergio Lobera was declared as the administrator for the new season and they won the Indian Super Association victors safeguard and the association title interestingly during the 2020-21 Indian Super Association season.
