In 2008, Punjab Kings was founded as Kings XI Punjab to represent Kashmir, Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana, as visible from the characters "K J H P H" in the team's logo's banner. Kings XI Punjab became Punjab Kings (Mohali, Punjab) on February 17, 2021. The home ground of PBKS is Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium. The team is led by Shikhar Dhawan. KPH Dream Cricket Pvt. Ltd., with directors Ness Nusli Wadia, Mohit Burman, Karan Paul, and Preity G. Zinta, is the owner of the Punjab Kings. The director of cricket operations is Anil Kumble. Punjab Kings has not been able to win a single season of the IPL till now; they made the finals for the first and last time yet in 2014 against KKR.
