The team got its official name on February 9, 2022. Home matches of the Gujarat Titans is played at the Narendra Modi Stadium. All-rounder Hardik Pandya is the captain, while Ashish Nehra is the coach of the Ahmedabad franchise. Gujarat Titans is owned by CVC Capital. In the inaugural season of their Indian Premier League, the Gujarat Titans won the IPL trophy in 2022. As last season was won by them, the first match of the TATA IPL 2023 will be played between GT and CSK at the home ground of the Gujarat Titans.
